Shavkat Mirziyoyev made 13 visits to foreign countries over 11 months

In 2018, mutually beneficial relations with leading countries of the world have intensified, the MFA reported.
“As a result of negotiations between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and foreign leaders, in a short period of time, the strategic partnership relations with Russia, Belarus, the United States, China, France, Turkey, Egypt, as well as countries of Asia-Pacific region, have climbed to a new level,” the MFA’s official website stated.
In January-November 2018, 21 visits have been made at the level of state heads, including Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s 13 visits to the foreign countries (2 state visits to Tajikistan and India, 2 official visits to the US and France and another 9 working visits to participate in multilateral events).
Besides, the heads of 8 states (Afghanistan, Belarus, Egypt, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey) visited Uzbekistan over the past period.
