In Karshi city, a meeting, chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was held with the participation of khokims of regions and districts as well as heads of sectors.

The President stressed that the main purpose is to ensure the interests of our people by means of entering into the foreign markets and reforming every sphere.

“You are all aware that almost every day some decrees, resolutions are being issued. Organizations and experts are working on them for months and years. Creating these decrees is not easy and their execution is even more difficult,” the presidential press service quoted the statement of the President.

Local executive authorities have been criticized for passiveness, inattentiveness to public demand.

“We want our people to live well and Uzbekistan to join the ranks of developed countries. But no one could have achieved success without a hard work and strong commitment! The President may give direction and assign task. Who will do it? When will people wake up? We have been delayed in many things. If we do not wake up now, we will not be able to reach our big goals. Nobody will come and do it for us,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
