Ravon (one of the brands of GM Uzbekistan JSC) cars will be delivered to the Russian market soon, Avtostat (an analytical agency) reported on October 29.
Earlier, deliveries of the Uzbek car brands to Russia were suspended at the end of spring on the background of sales growth in the first quarter of 2018 by 152%.
The cars have already been delivered to car dealerships in Ufa, but vehicles are not being sold as the final prices of cars have not yet been approved. Due to the high demand in the first quarter of 2018, the manufacturer raised the price for the cars.
According to preliminary information, the Uzbek side intends to ask 1,05 million rubles ($ 15,200 by the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation) for the R3 sedan in the maximum configuration and 1,08 million rubles for the identical R4, whereas previously they cost 579 and 629 thousand rubles ($ 8,800 - $9,500).
In 2017, Russians purchased 4,580 Ravon carsa and the company's trade turnover amounted to 2,07 billion rubles ($30,5 million).
