The Prosecutor General's office reveals fraudulence in the cotton harvesting campaign

The operational staff of Romitan district Prosecutor’s office in cooperation with Bukhara regional inspectorate uncovered fraudulent activity in the cotton harvesting campaign, the press service of the Prosecutor General's office reports.
T. K., a tractor driver of the farm "A" in Shofirkan district, has tried to cheat the authorities by increasing the amount of cotton picked. He, illegally conspiring with the managers of the farm, managed to get registered non-existing 460 kg cotton worth 1,6 million sums. As a result, they were able to increase the sales volume up to 4,236 kg.
A criminal case has been initiated against the convicts. An investigation is under way.
