New khokim of Yunusabad district appointed

On Oct. 3, 2018, an extraordinary session of the Yunusabad District Council of Deputies was held. During the meeting, organizational issues before the council were discussed. Following the session, Usmanov Rahmonbek Jahongirovich, erstwhile Principal Deputy Head of the Uzbek Agency of Automobile Transport, was appointed khokim (mayor) of Yunusabad district.
Usmonov Rahmonbek Jahongirovich, born in 1960 in Tashkent, graduated from Tashkent Automobile and Road Institute.
He was awarded the Order "Mehnat shuhrati".
During the course of his professional career, he worked in different positions at government organizations. From 2011 to 2012 Mr. Usmonov served as acting khokim (mayor) and from 2012 to 2018 as khokim of Tashkent city.
Rahmonbek Usmonov has already embarked on his duties, the press service of Tashkent city administration said.
