The Law "On Private Employment Agencies" approved by senators

During the sixteenth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Law "On Private Employment Agencies" was approved.
The senators noted that the law envisages expanding and increasing employment opportunities for the population of Uzbekistan both at the enterprises of the country and abroad. Besides, it considers a clear regulation of the mechanisms of interaction between public services and the private sector of employment, determining the terms and conditions for the provision of employment services, including the rights and obligations of private employment agencies, enterprises and people looking for work.
The law further intensifies the influence of the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of regulating the activities of private employment agencies. In accordance with the norms of the law, state bodies and other organizations provide assistance to private employment agencies in attracting programs and projects aimed at ensuring employment of the population.
