The LET L-410, a twin-engine regional aircraft developed by Czech manufacturer LET Aircraft Industries, is designed to carry up to 19 passengers on short-haul routes. Known for its ability to operate on short runways and in challenging climate conditions, the L-410 is well-suited for flights to Uzbekistan’s remote regions.

The new addition joins Silk Avia’s existing fleet, which already includes two L-410 aircraft serving domestic routes. Currently, Silk Avia offers flights three times a week between Nukus and Muynak (on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays), as well as routes between Tashkent and Shakhrisabz on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Daily service is also available on the Tashkent–Zaamin route.

The expansion aligns with Uzbekistan Airways’ efforts to improve connectivity across the country, particularly for hard-to-reach areas, enhancing mobility and access for residents of outlying regions.
