Under the new regulation, citizens who do not permanently reside in the border zone but stay for more than five days must obtain a registration certificate by contacting either a preventive inspector or their local mahalla (community) leader. This certificate is valid for one month, and the form can be accessed online.
The regulation also outlines that residents who live permanently in the border zone may move within it without needing a registration certificate. Those on official assignments in the border area must carry personal identification and relevant work documents.
Visitors to border-area facilities, including sanatoriums, rest houses, and tourist bases, will need to have an official invitation or documentation from the institutions they are visiting. Children’s camps in the area will also only allow entry based on official permits. Parents of children attending these camps may visit for up to five days, provided they carry personal identification.
