Uzbekistan and Croatia discuss strengthening bilateral ties

One of the highlights of the visit was Kamilov’s meeting with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, where the parties discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation across multiple sectors, including trade and economics, transportation and infrastructure, energy, and labor migration. The Prime Minister expressed high regard for President Mirziyoyev’s initiatives to strengthen bilateral relations and affirmed Croatia’s commitment to furthering mutually beneficial cooperation.

During the meeting, Kamilov formally conveyed an invitation from President Mirziyoyev for Prime Minister Plenković to make an official visit to Uzbekistan in 2025.

The delegation also held talks with other senior Croatian officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport, and Infrastructure Oleg Butković, along with leaders from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries.
