Uzbekistan Railways announced that trains will run once a week on this international route, making stops at various stations in Kazakhstan along the way.

On September 24, at 19:55 local time, train No. 505, traveling from Tashkent to Moscow, departed from Tashkent Central Railway Station in a ceremonial send-off. The train is scheduled to arrive at its final destination, Moscow's Paveletsky Railway Station, on September 27 at 23:12 (Moscow time).

Uzbekistan suspended all international passenger train services in March 2020 due to the pandemic. Since 2022, the phased resumption of these services has been underway, marking a gradual return to normal operations.
