According to the MFA of Kazakhstan, during the meeting the minister emphasized that thanks to the political will of the heads of state, Kazakh-Uzbek relations in recent years have been brought to the level of strategic partnership and alliance.
In this regard, the results of the historic in scale and content state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Astana on August 7-8 are of great practical importance for the further development of multifaceted bilateral cooperation.
In accordance with the decree of the President of Kazakhstan, the Minister, noting the great work done and the significant contribution of the Ambassador to strengthening bilateral relations, presented Saidikram Niyazkhodjayev with a high state award – the Order of Dostyk of the 2nd degree, and wished him new successes in his future professional activities.
In turn, the Uzbek diplomat expressed deep gratitude for the high assessment of his activities by the leadership of Kazakhstan and expressed confidence in the further progressive development of Kazakh-Uzbek relations in the spirit of friendship, brotherhood and good neighborliness.
It should be recalled that Saidikram Niyazkhodjayev was appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan in March 2018. Prior to that, he held senior positions in the administration of the President of Uzbekistan, government structures, including Deputy State Advisor and Deputy Minister of Economy. In 2015-2018, he worked as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
