The facilities will operate based on the special industrial zone "Technopark," located in the Zaamin district. This industrial zone, spanning 400 hectares, was established in partnership with China's Mingyuan Group.
Investors plan to implement 30 projects in the technopark, including the production of electrical equipment, furniture, and construction materials, as well as machinery manufacturing and service enterprises, which will collectively provide over 5,000 jobs.
The total investment volume is estimated at $1.2 billion. The export potential of the future enterprises is forecasted to be $70 million, with the total value of industrial products exceeding 4.7 trillion UZS.
The technopark will also host an international center for experience exchange and engineering skills, which will organize the training of specialists for the industry. Additionally, an office center, a commercial complex, an exhibition hall, residential buildings, and an eco-park will be constructed.
According to official statistics, the volume of foreign investments realized in the Jizzakh region has grown almost 39-fold over the last five years—from $18 million to $700 million. Currently, there are 260 enterprises with foreign capital operating in the region.
