“Current issues of further deepening the Uzbek-Turkish relations of a comprehensive strategic partnership were considered in the context of the implementation of the agreements of the high-level visit to the city of Ankara on June 5-6 of this year,” Mirziyoyev’s press service reported.
The parties discussed prospects for the development of military and military-technical cooperation, including close interdepartmental interaction, organization of joint events, training of military specialists, and others.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening and coordinating cooperation in the field of security, countering terrorism, extremism and radicalism, the report notes.
An exchange of views also took place on ensuring peace and stability in the region, including the situation in Afghanistan.
