Large Hungarian retailer ready to explore possibilities of importing Uzbek products

Founded in Germany in 1946 by brothers Karl and Theodor Albrecht, Aldi is one of the largest and most successful discount store chains in the world. Today Aldi has more than 10 thousand stores in 20 countries. Aldi opened its first store in Budapest in 2008. The company is actively developing in the Hungarian market and is currently one of the largest retailers in the country.

During the negotiations, the Hungarian side was presented with the wide export potential of Uzbekistan, as well as commercial offers of domestic enterprises.

The Hungarian side has expressed interest in importing products from Uzbekistan and is ready to establish close ties with exporting enterprises of our country.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to provide the Uzbek side with information based on an in-depth analysis of prices and requirements (certificates) for importing products into the Hungarian market, as well as studying the possibilities of exporting legumes from Uzbekistan.
