The Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bekhzod Musayev met with the Minister of Justice of South Korea Park Sung-jae, the press service of the Ministry reports.
During the meeting in Seoul, issues of cooperation between the two countries, including those related to labor relations, as well as ways to resolve them were discussed.
As a result of the negotiations, we reached an agreement that our compatriots will be able to work seasonally in the agricultural sector of the Republic of Korea. In particular, there will be an opportunity to improve your skills by working in the field of agriculture and agricultural technologies, enrich your knowledge and skills, and return to our country with more experience.
In addition, work opportunities in Korea are opening up for young men and women with professions. There are many specialists in this area, that is, those with a certain profession and diploma. Now they will also be able to work in South Korea in their specialty.
The Korean side expressed its readiness to “open any type of work visa for our compatriots at the highest level” if Uzbek workers do not violate Korean labor laws, switch to illegal activities, or leave their jobs without reason.
