Akmal Mirzayev was appointed deputy governor of Syrdarya region for agriculture and water management.
He was born in 1971 in the Urgut district, Samarkand region. In 1997, he graduated from the Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, in 2003 - from the Tashkent State Economic University, in 2010 - from the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Since October 2022, he has headed the Sardoba district of Syrdarya region.
In his new post, he replaced Dilmurod Abdurakhmanov, who served as deputy governor of the region for agriculture and water management since April 2022.
