UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron arrives in Uzbekistan

High-level talks between the distinguished guest and the leader of Uzbekistan's foreign policy agency, Bakhtiyor Saidov, have commenced at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Discussions at the meeting are focused on regional security, education, climate change, and the development of bilateral trade and business relations.

It was previously reported that British Foreign Secretary David Cameron was scheduled to visit Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. The visits aim to conduct negotiations to expand relations with Britain in trade, security, and environmental matters.

According to The Independent, Cameron will announce a series of measures aimed at supporting the "hard-won sovereignty" of Central Asia.

On Monday, David Cameron met with the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, at the Palace of the Nation in Dushanbe.
