Training courses for Uzbek specialists to be organized in India

Representatives of our country’s embassy in Delhi and the India-Uzbekistan Friendship Society discussed the prospects for mutual cooperation.

The Friendship Society is headed by the director of the Memorial Complex of former Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri – Anil Kumar Shastri. The diplomatic mission and the society have established active cooperation to widely promote the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the Uzbek and Indian peoples, national customs and traditions, and strengthen the spirit of mutual understanding between ordinary people.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Sardor Rustambayev put forward a number of projects for implementation this year jointly by the diplomatic mission and the Friendship Society.

During the meeting, issues related to the organization of advanced training courses for Uzbek specialists at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, the intensification of relations between higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and India, the joint translation of literature of interest to readers of both countries into Uzbek, Hindi and English, and as well as holding joint cultural events.
