He will hold talks in Dushanbe with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, as well as a number of bilateral meetings and take part in joint events.
“The agenda includes issues of further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Tajik relations of friendship, good neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance,” the report reads.
Particular attention is planned to be paid to promoting cooperation projects in the fields of trade, industry, agriculture, energy, transport and other sectors. Issues of expanding interregional contacts, cultural, humanitarian and tourist exchange will also be considered.
The presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will also exchange views on current international and regional issues.
“As a result of the summit, it is planned to adopt a solid package of bilateral documents,” the message says.
