An extraordinary session of the Bekabad district council of people’s deputies took place in Tashkent region.
According to the regional administration, an organizational issue was included in the session agenda. Zoyir Mirzayev, the governor of Tashkent region, took part in the session. In his speech, he touched upon the current issues of economic-social development of the district.
Zoyir Mirzayev recommended Shukhrat Dusbekov as a candidate for Bekabad district governor. He was appointed district governor by the decision of the Bekabad district council of people’s deputies.
Shukhrat Dusbekov was born in 1980 in Piskent district, Tashkent region. In 2008, he graduated from Tashkent State Agrarian University.
During his career, he worked as the head of the agricultural department of Tashkent region, the deputy governor of Bekabad district for agriculture and water management issues.
Prior to his appointment, he was working as the chairman of the Tashkent Regional Council of Farmers and Dekhkan Farms and Homestead Landowners of Uzbekistan.
Earlier, it was reported that Shukhrat Mirzayev, the former governor of Bekobad district, was being suspected in a criminal case.
According to the Kun.uz source, he was arrested as part of an anti-corruption campaign. A preventive measure of imprisonment was applied against the governor.
Mirzayev was appointed to the position of Bekabad district governor on August 7 of this year. Before that, he worked as the deputy head of the Accounting and Reporting Department of Qishloqqurilishbank.
