Recently, cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bangladesh in the textile sector has begun to rapidly expand.

The General Director of the Beximco Group, Mr. Hussein, highlighted the advantages of Uzbek manufacturers in the global textile industry, emphasizing the possibility of duty-free export to the markets of Europe and the CIS. This factor makes the export of goods from Uzbekistan to Europe several times faster than from Bangladesh - only 10 days versus 30 days.

The parties reached agreements regarding the development of the textile sector in Uzbekistan. The possibilities of creating a joint mega-production for the production of ready-made clothing under well-known brands, as well as using the experience of the Beximco company in the production of yarn and knitwear with the involvement of Bangladeshi technologists and designers, were considered.

Beximco Group, founded in the 1970s in Bangladesh, is the country's largest private company, contributing nearly 75% to GDP. Their activities include a vertically integrated textile manufacturing business providing cotton and polyester clothing for men, women and children, both for the domestic market and for global brands including H&M, Zara, and others.
