On December 15, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Advisor on Economic Development, Good Governance and International Cooperation Suma Chakrabarti.

The progress of activities and further plans to improve the effectiveness of the socio-economic reform program in our country were reviewed.

Particular attention is paid to increasing the efficiency of the work being carried out to improve the investment climate and business environment, promoting major projects in various sectors of the economy with the involvement of leading foreign companies and financial institutions.

Issues related to the process of Uzbekistan’s accession to the World Trade Organization and increasing the position of our state in international rankings were discussed.
