At a meeting of the Adolat SDP faction in the Legislative Chamber, a number of bills were discussed, based on the goals and objectives of the party.

The discussion centered on the bill “On introducing an amendment to Article 248 of the Administrative Responsibility Code, aimed at increasing the efficiency of the activities of employees of crime prevention units of internal affairs bodies in preventing delinquency among minors, as well as cases of harassment and violence against women”.

The bill provides for the expansion of the powers of psychologist inspectors for juvenile affairs and (senior) inspectors for women’s affairs of crime prevention units of internal affairs bodies. For this purpose, amendments are being made to Article 248 of the Administrative Responsibility Code.

It is assumed that psychologist-inspectors for juvenile affairs will be able to apply administrative penalties against parents or persons replacing them for failure to fulfill their duties in raising and educating minors. It is expected that women’s affairs inspectors will be authorized to draw up reports on administrative offenses for failure to comply with the requirements of a protection order.

The bill was approved by deputies.
