The event was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and departments of Central Asian countries, the European Union and experts responsible for the implementation of the program.
The results of the anti-drug program in Central Asia and next steps for the successful implementation of activities planned for 2024 were discussed at the meeting.
In addition, an exchange of views took place on further work to develop a holistic and evidence-based drug policy and introduce quality methods to reduce the demand for drugs among vulnerable groups of the population.
The 7th stage of this program is currently being implemented. The program budget is €6.8 million.
