A number of Russian airlines have requested permission to fly to Uzbekistan
Nine airlines have submitted applications to operate new flights to Tashkent, and permission has also been requested for flights to the capital from St. Petersburg and Krasnoyarsk.
Russian airlines, including Aeroflot, UTair, IrAero, NordStar, Ural Airlines, Smartavia, AZUR Air, North Wind and Yakutia, have requested permission for new flights to Tashkent, follows from Rosaviatsiya data.
Thus, Aeroflot applied for 11 new flights to Tashkent, UTair, IrAero, Ural Airlines and Smartavia – for 7 flights, NordStar – for 4, North Wind – for 3 and AZUR Air and Yakutia – for 2.
Seven airlines have applied to operate direct flights between St. Petersburg and Tashkent, planning to operate from 2 to 7 flights per week.
Airlines also submitted applications to operate flights from Krasnoyarsk to Tashkent: NordStar, Rossiya, Smartavia submitted 7 applications each, Yakutia – 2.
In addition, the number of flights connecting the Russian capital with Bukhara and Urgench will increase. Russian airlines have submitted applications for 39 flights per week to Urgench and 5 additional flights to Bukhara.intrans.gov.ru
