On October 12, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Said Rustamov met with the UK Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and the United Nations at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, Lord Tariq Ahmad. The parties discussed important issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UK.
Tariq Ahmad praised the progress in the bilateral dialogue between the two countries, which has noticeably strengthened and been enriched with new content in recent years.
The British side expressed its support for the unchanged course of reforms and broad modernization that are being carried out in Uzbekistan.
Lord Ahmad expressed gratitude to Said Rustamov for his valuable and fruitful contribution to the development of open, constructive, and friendly relations between the UK and Uzbekistan.
