The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang held a meeting at the Hangzhou Hua Jia State Residence.
During the talks, the parties noted that “there is every opportunity to increase mutual trade turnover between Uzbekistan and China to $12-13 billion.”
The sides stressed the importance of implementing promising projects in the areas of “green” energy, the automotive industry, electrical engineering, processing of non-ferrous and rare metals, “smart” agriculture, and water-saving technologies. For this purpose, it was proposed to create an Uzbek-Chinese industrial park based on modern technologies.
The parties also exchanged views on enriching the economic agenda of the upcoming high-level negotiations with specific new projects and implementing the previously reached agreements.
