Uzbekistan and South Korea to create joint logistics companies

Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbaeva and the First Deputy Chairman of the Uzbek-Korean Business Association Kim Chang Keon discussed in Seoul the issues of bilateral cooperation.

At the meeting, the parties agreed to create joint transport and logistics companies that will service Uzbek exports to South Korea.

In addition, in Uzbekistan, it is planned to establish the production of audio and video equipment, video surveillance systems, as well as to build a complex for processing solid household waste.

Also, the head of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Chang Won-sam promised to promote projects in Uzbekistan in the fields of healthcare, education, information technology, utilities, agriculture and water management, energy, and transport.
