The applications of 20,054 citizens registered online through the magistr.edu.uz electronic system for admission to master's degrees of state higher education institutions for the new academic year have been fully reviewed, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation reports.
According to him, 9,074 of the registered applicants were rejected on the grounds that their documents did not meet the required standards. 10,980 applicants who were in demand took part in the competition.
According to the competition results, 6,393 students were recommended to study. Of these:
• state grant - 3,238 people;
• contract payment - 3,155 people.
2,160 of the applicants recommended to study on the basis of a payment contract are women.

For information, the tuition fee amount of women admitted to the master's level of universities is covered by the state budget funds.
