It has been reported that tariffs for cold water supply and wastewater services will increase in the regions of Uzbekistan.
According to the information of the “Uzsuvtaminot” company, tariffs will be increased in the Tashkent region starting from August 20. The new prices were approved by the decision of the Regional Council of People’s Deputies on July 19.
The tariff for one cubic meter of water for subscribers of “Tashkent water supply” enterprise will be increased from 950 to 1,700 soums (without VAT), for budget and wholesale trade organizations from 4,000 to 7,000 soums.
The tariff for wastewater services for the population has been increased from 700 to 850 soums per 1 cubic meter (without VAT), from 1,300 to 1,850 soums for budget and regional organizations.
Accordingly, tariffs are being increased for subscribers of “Chimyon-Chorbog water supply” and “Musaffo obi hayot” enterprises operating in Tashkent region.
Earlier, the company “Surkhandarya water supply” announced that tariffs will be increased in Surkhandarya region from August 1. Tariffs for water for residents increased from 1,150 to 2,140 soums per cubic meter, and for sewage from 650 to 950 soums (without VAT).
From August 1, tariffs will be increased in Kashkadarya region – from 1,000 soums to 2,000 soums for water and from 950 soums to 1,000 soums for sewage.
There has been no notification of an increase in tariffs in the city of Tashkent.
