In total, 19 victims are involved in this criminal case. Among them are ex-Minister of Employment and Labor Relations Nozim Khusanov, former head of the Agency for External Labor Migration Afzal Irmatov, and Andijan city governor Gofurjon Abdurakhmanov.
It should be recalled that on January 27, the director of the Human.uz website Khurshid Daliyev, the editor-in-chief of the website Muslim Mirzajonov (later released) and other employees of the website were taken out of the office of the publication, located on the territory of the Tashkent State Agrarian University.
AIMC reported that law enforcement officers carried out an operative event and indeed detained some of the site’s employees. They clarified that earlier citizens turned to law enforcement agencies with a complaint against the employees of this site.
Law enforcement sources told Kun.uz that the detained Human.uz employees were administrators of the Kompromatuzb Telegram channel, where they published various information.
“Compromising evidence is usually documents (photos, videos and sound recordings) containing information that exposes the dark sides of a person or organization’s activities – those that he/they tried not to disclose,” the description of the Telegram channel said.
According to the source, the administrators of the Kompromatuzb Telegram channel were engaged in extortion. They collected information and asked for money in order not to publish certain facts. They are also suspected of committing other economic offences.
Then the State Security Service was informed that a case was initiated against Khurshid Daliyev and other persons under Article 165 (extortion) of the Criminal Code.
At the end of January, it became known that Mavjuda Mirzayeva, a journalist and former head of the press service of the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, was also detained in the “Kompromat” case.
