The Embassy of the PRC in Tashkent published on its official website a greeting signed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Uzbekistan Yu Jun.
In his message, the new ambassador noted that the embassy "actively implements important agreements between the leaders of the two countries, contributes to development strategies, and encourages mutually friendly exchanges."
In the message of the embassy, there was also a statement about deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields and strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples on a permanent basis, and helping to further develop China-Uzbekistan comprehensive strategic partnership relations in the new era.
As reported on the website of the diplomatic mission, Yu Jun was born in 1972. He is a member of the Chinese Communist Party and worked in the relevant departments and offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as in embassies and consulates abroad.
The previous Ambassador of China to Uzbekistan Jiang Yan announced the completion of her five-year diplomatic mission in February this year.
