The Embassy calls on all citizens of Uzbekistan to strictly follow the rules of public safety in force on the territory of the Russian Federation and to refrain from traveling to the border regions with Ukraine.
“Please do not succumb to unverified information circulating in the information space and abide by the law of the host country.
If necessary, you can promptly contact the call center of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow at +7-499 230-00-76,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement.
The Embassy’s statement comes after the recent development of events in Russia: the Wagner Group started a rebellion, accusing the military officials of the country of attacking mercenaries. Russian President Vladimir Putin vowed to punish those who are behind the coup.
