Presidential candidate Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is in the region to meet the voters of Kashkadarya, shared his plans for the development of education, medicine and road infrastructure in the next seven years, Kun.uz correspondent reported.
Education
According to the candidate, by 2030, in the region:
• by allocating 1.3 trillion soums to the field of preschool education, coverage will be increased to 100%;
• 28 mobile groups with 1,500 seats will be established to cover remote areas with preschool education;
• 350 one-year free preparatory groups and 50 short-term groups of 12 seats will be formed in kindergartens.
In school education, additional 130,000 student places will be created in the next seven years, there will be no classes with more than 30 students in the region (currently, 35 children study in more than 4,000 classes).
Also, 237 schools will be fully renovated, 591 schools will be equipped with modern educational materials, laboratories and computers.
Healthcare
In the field of medicine, 37 polyclinics, 95 family medical centers will be established, treatment places will be increased to 12,000. “Mother and child” cluster will be established on the basis of 5 scattered hospitals in Karshi city. Modern maternity complexes will be built in the cities of Nishan, Chirakchi, Kasan, Karshi and Shakhrisabz (550 treatment seats).
“In the coming years, the expenses of treatment of 800 needy women and their minor children will be covered by the state,” the candidate said.
Transport infrastructure
According to Shavkat Mirziyoyev, 100 modern e-buses will be brought for Kashkadarya city public transport, 200 charging stations for e-cars will be built. $30 million will be attracted for these purposes.
Together with international financial organizations:
- “Karshi – Shakhrisabz – Kitab” and “Samarkand – Karshi” roads will be overhauled (177 kilometers);
- the 60-kilometer section of the road “Almaty – Bishkek – Tashkent – Shakhrisabz – Termiz” passing through the Kashkadarya region will be reconstructed.
