According to them, in order to implement the agreements reached within the framework of the China-Central Asia summit in the city of Xi’an, the Zhejiang Union of Railway Logistics, together with Uzbekistan Railways JSC and the State Enterprise NC Kyrgyz Railways, launched a block train consisting of 30 containers from Lanzhou station to Tashkent.
In order to stimulate cargo transportation along the multimodal transport corridor “China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan”, on June 9, the movement of the first test train started.
A freight train worth $2.5 million with solar panels, mechanical equipment, fabrics and other cargo will arrive in Tashkent from Lanzhou in 15 days.
