Indonesian airline Batik Air to launch flights from Kuala Lumpur to Tashkent

The Indonesian airline Batik Air intends to connect Kuala Lumpur and Tashkent with direct flights from the end of October this year, the press service of Uzbekistan Airports reports.

It is expected that regular flights between the capitals will be operated by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft three times a week.

This intention was expressed by representatives of the airline during negotiations with Uzbekistan Airports with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, the Ministry of Transport and the management company of the Samarkand airport.

For information, Batik Air is an Indonesian airline that operates scheduled passenger flights within Indonesia and is a subsidiary of low-cost carrier Lion Air.
