After a three-year hiatus, the national airline carrier Uzbekistan Airways is resuming regular flights to the Chinese city of Urumqi.
Starting from June 30, Uzbekistan Airways is restoring regular flights on the Tashkent-Urumqi-Tashkent route, the company said in a statement.
Regular flights will be operated every week on Fridays/Saturdays.
The cost of an air ticket from Tashkent to Urumqi starts from 2.7 million soums, a round-trip - from 4.8 million soums.
Regular flights to Urumqi were suspended in February 2020 due to COVID-19.
