Uzbekistan Airways is re-launching seasonal flights from Tashkent to Batumi, the company said in a statement.
The first flight to the Georgian resort town is scheduled for May 24. Flights will be operated during the summer season.
A one-way ticket price starts at 2,423,000 soums, and a return ticket – at 4,314,000 soums.
One can buy tickets on the website uzairways.com, at the branch of Uzbekistan Airways Sales or from the airline's agents.
The national airline began flying to Batumi in the spring of 2022. Back then, the flights were also operated in the summer season, twice a week.
In addition to Uzbekistan Airways, the private company Centrum Air has established air communication with Georgia. On May 13, charter flights between Tashkent and Tbilisi were launched. From June 4, the company will carry out flights on the route Tashkent-Batumi.
