As of April 1, the permanent population of the city of Tashkent amounted to 2,978.2 thousand people.

According to the Statistics Agency, Tashkent’s population was 2,955.7 thousand people on January 1 this year.

Reportedly, 1,506.4 thousand of the capital’s permanent population are women and 1,449.3 thousand – are men.

Earlier it was also reported that as of April 1, 2023, the resident population in Namangan region amounted to 3,012.5 thousand people.
