According to the MIA press service of the Russian Federation for Moscow, the offender was put on the interstate wanted list.
On the above fact, the investigating authorities of Uzbekistan initiated a case on the grounds of crimes under Article 97-2 (premeditated murder) and Article 164-4 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
“As a result of operative-search activities, the suspect was detained by the capital’s detectives on Almata Street. At that moment, a 40-year-old visitor presented a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which had visible signs of forgery. An examination conducted at the ECC of the Southern Administrative District of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow established that a photograph was re-glued in the document,” the report reads.
The department of inquiry of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Brateyevo district initiated a case on the grounds of a crime under Article 327-5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
With respect to the suspect, a measure of restraint was chosen with further extradition to Uzbekistan.
