In the 1st season of “Initiative budget”, a total of 1,666 initiatives were declared winners. 1.6 trillion soums will be allocated for their implementation.
Most of the winning projects are related to social sector facilities, internal road repair, street lighting installation, drinking water, natural gas, and electricity networks.
There was a lack of classrooms in the 21st boarding school in Pakhtaabad district of Andijan region. Residents of the mahalla and the school team joined together and introduced a project for the construction of an additional educational building. As a result of this effort, this project received 8,350 votes and was declared the winner. The school team celebrated this victory together with the students.
Residents of Alijan village of Kattakurgan district of Samarkand region welcomed the victory with great joy. The number of children aged 3-6 in this village is 325. But there is no kindergarten in the area. The project to build a kindergarten in the village, included in the “Initiative Budget”, has been approved. This is a great result for residents of the Alijan village.
Such celebrations are taking place in many regions of the republic. People who are able to unite in solving the problem in their area are feeling the joy of victory.
In the 1st season of “Initiative budget” of this year, the most projects were approved from Bukhara region – 173 projects. About 150 projects have been successful in Namangan (154), Tashkent (152), Samarkand (147) and Surkhandarya (147) regions. The fewest winning initiatives are in Navoi (85) and Jizzakh (67) regions.
