According to the presidential press service, during the session, the head of state instructed to allocate an additional 100 billion soums for the infrastructure of 14 large industrial projects, to create electrical and pharmaceutical technology parks in Urgench.
In addition, the task was set to increase the production of Damas and Labo cars with the attraction of investments in the amount of $20 million.
It is noted that this will create 300 new jobs.
“Today we discussed with you all issues related to the life of the population, allocated the necessary funds, approved a new governor of the region. The next task is to rally all people of Khorezm around themselves, to work honestly and selflessly, to implement all the plans and initiatives that have been voiced today, to make sure that they are embodied in the daily life of the population,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the end of the session.
It should be recalled that during the session, the head of state proposed Jurabek Rakhimov for the post of governor of the Khorezm region. According to the voting results, Jurabek Rakhimov was approved as regional governor.
