New Year holiday lasts 3-4 days: December 31 - an additional day-off for employees working 6 days a week; January 1 - Sunday; January 2 - an additional day-off for everyone; January 3 is an additional holiday for those who work six days a week, and for those who work five days a week it is a holiday moved from January 7 (Saturday).
The presidential decree on setting additional day-offs in 2023 was announced.
According to it, in the next year, there will be an additional day-off for all employees, regardless of the type of work week:
- January 2 - Monday;
- June 30 - Friday.
Additional day-offs for employees working a six-day work week:
- January 3 – Tuesday;
- March 20 – Monday;
- March 22 – Wednesday;
- April 24 - Monday;
- July 1 - Saturday;
- September 2 - Saturday;
- December 30 - Saturday.
For employees working in a five-day work week, day-offs are transferred in the following order:
- From Saturday, January 7 to Tuesday, January 3;
- From Saturday, March 11 to Monday, March 20;
- From Saturday, March 25 to Wednesday, March 22;
- From Saturday, April 29 to Monday, April 24.
