It is noted that in the next 5 years, new hotels and family guest houses will be established in Khorezm region, and the number of foreign tourists will increase 10 times, that is, it will reach half a million.

The railway reached the city of Khiva and a new railway station was put into operation. In 2024, it is planned to bring a high-speed train to Khiva.

“If we give the name of Jaloliddin Manguberdi to a high-speed train, I think you will support this proposal,” the head of state said. 

Also, more than 100 modern service facilities will be built along the highway between the cities of Urganch and Khiva.

Work is being carried out on the basis of a specific plan to create a tourist brand “Khorazm” attractive for local and foreign tourists in the oasis.

In order to increase the number of foreign tourists visiting Khorezm, necessary infrastructures will be created in order to expand interregional and international transportation. The Urganch International Airport, which ranks next to the capital’s airport in terms of passenger flow, will be reconstructed in the next 2 years and be turned into a major tourist transport hub.
