The State Security Service put an end to illegal situations related to admission to higher education institutions.
In an operative event held in cooperation with the Andijan regional SSS Department and the regional DIA staff, a person living in Andijan district was caught when he earned the trust of a local citizen and received $10,000 in exchange for enrolling his relative in one of the universities in Andijan through his acquaintances working in a high position.
In an operative event held in the city of Tashkent, a person living in Akkurgan district was arrested when he fraudulently promised to enroll his acquaintance in one of the higher education institutions in the capital through his acquaintance and received $5,000 in return. Then, the operative event was continued, and this employee of the university, who was involved in this case, was also caught when he received the $5,000.
Also, a master student of one of the universities in Tashkent, who allegedly introduced himself as an employee of the State Testing Center, was caught with material evidence when he received $3,000 from a citizen in exchange for transferring the studies of his relative studying at one of the institutions in Tajikistan to one of the HEIs in Tashkent.
In a quick action held in cooperation with the Tashkent Regional SSS Department and the Bekabad city DIA, one of the LLC managers in the Bekabad city was caught while taking $2,200 from a citizen in exchange for transferring his relative, who is studying at one of the universities in Tajikistan, to one of the universities in the city of Tashkent.
Similarly, a student of one of the universities in Tajikistan who lives in Bekabad district and is currently a student of one of the universities in Tajikistan was caught when he received $2,000 in exchange for transferring the studies of another student at this university to one of the higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated in connection with all cases under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.
