Uzbekistan’s cement imports down
In January-April, Uzbekistan imported 662,000 tons of cement worth $26.1 million.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of cement imports decreased by 372,000 tons compared to the corresponding period last year.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan purchased cement mainly from the following countries:
- Tajikistan - 289.5 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan - 185.3 thousand tons
- Kyrgyzstan - 179.3 thousand tons
- Turkmenistan - 3.7 thousand tons
- Iran - 3.7 thousand tons
