During the meeting, topical issues of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation were considered.
The parties exchanged views on the possibilities for further development of cooperation in such areas as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, ICT, processing, storage and packaging of agricultural products, including fruits and vegetables, modern textile clusters for the processing of cotton fiber, the production of branded textiles, export-oriented silk products, fabrics, shoes and other leather products.
An agreement was reached to study the structure of mutual trade in order to identify specific commodity items that are promising in terms of increasing mutual deliveries of products that are in demand in the markets of both countries.
The sides expressed their mutual readiness for cooperation to remove existing trade barriers and create favorable conditions for enhancing bilateral trade.
