Uzbekistan’s cement imports considerably down
In January-March 2022, Uzbekistan imported 425.3 thousand tons of cement for $16.7 million.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of cement imports decreased by 342 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
The republic imported cement mainly from the following countries during the reporting period:
- Tajikistan - 188.4 thousand tons
- Kyrgyz R. - 121.4 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan - 111.8 thousand tons
- Iran - 1.9 thousand tons
- Turkmenistan - 1.5 thousand tons
- Russia - 206 tons
