According to the document, the Ministry of Public Education and the Ministry of Health, together with the relevant departments, were instructed to submit a draft resolution to the Cabinet of Ministers by July 1, 2022, providing for:
- increase in 2022 the salaries of talented teachers and doctors based on the qualification category by a differentiated method;
- ensuring a fundamental revision of the procedure for assigning a qualification category to teachers and doctors with the involvement of international experts, as well as the introduction of a fair and transparent system based on the methodology for assessing qualifications.
If the draft document is prepared before July 1, 2022, then it is possible that the resolution will be approved and enter into force in the second half of this year.
Earlier it was reported that in 2022, the republic plans to further increase the salaries of teachers and doctors differentially depending on the qualification category:
- teachers of the highest category – at least 15%;
- teachers of the first category, doctors of the highest and first categories – at least 10%;
- teachers and doctors of the second category – at least 5%.
It should be recalled that on November 1, 2021, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting on tax revenues and budget parameters for 2022.
Then, during the meeting, the head of state, emphasizing the need for a phased increase in the salaries of teachers and doctors, proposed to allocate additional funds for these purposes.
