When studying the applications received on the above issues, it turned out that these actions are carried out by business entities using seals-stamps of various forms, consisting mainly of words such as “fire”, “fighting fire”, “safety”, “protection” and with various fire warning symbols.
In this regard, the Ministry of Justice declares that it is unlawful to demand from citizens the payment of obligatory payments by individuals on the basis of false information, posing as “employees of state fire control bodies”.
The ministry recalled that citizens must pay in accordance with the established procedure for the following utilities: cold water supply; hot water supply (in apartment buildings); power supply; gas supply; heat supply (in apartment buildings); sewerage (if the consumer is connected).
No mandatory payments for utilities or taxes related to fire and its prevention are provided for by law, the Ministry of Justice added.
Article 209¹ of the Administrative Responsibility Code establishes responsibility for the wearing of approved samples of military, departmental and special uniforms of servicemen and employees of ministries, departments and organizations in which the wearing of uniforms is provided by persons who do not have the right to do so.
